- Application Details
- For acid treatments, CSURF 301 is typically added into the acid during loading operations at rates of 1 to 3 gallons per 1,000 gallons of acid. When applied in a matriz squeeze procedure the CSURF 391 is mixed with the water/brine or alcohol at a rate of 1 to 3 gallons per barrel of fluid.
- Specific treating rates will vary according to the type of treatment and the emulsifying characteristics of the oil in formation, the treating fluid, and the volume of solids generated during the acid treatment. Field testing is highly recommended in order to optimize the treating rates.
