Crys-Talc® 1H-1HC is a high-brightness, ultrafine, micro-lamellar talc that is recommended for the nucleation of polymers and for film and thin-gage polymer applications. It significantly increases the crystallization temperature of semicrystalline polymers, including polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters. Crys-Talc® 1H also enhances the stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability of polymer compounds. The high brightness and micro-crystallinity of the talc ore used make Crys-Talc® 1H ideal for film or thin sheet applications that require optimum optical properties, e.g., high clarity and low haze. Crys-Talc® 1HC is the compacted form of Crys-Talc® 1H and is recommended for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.
