ACCESS® B-LS is a highly effective low-foaming silane coupling agent designed to improve the adhesion of coatings, adhesives, and sealants to various substrates. This clear, colorless liquid has a low viscosity, making it easy to add to different types of formulations. It is especially effective in applications where foam control is critical, such as in the production of paints and coatings.

Product Applications
  • ACCESS® B-LS is added during production operations as an additive to aqueous coating systems.
  • ACCESS® B-LS is especially suitable for producing masonry paints or plasters with strong water beading effects.
  • Water drops can have a contact angle of more than 145°. To achieve the beading effect desired, raw materials which do not affect the hydrophobic properties have to be used for formulating the coating.
