Applications & Uses
- Product Applications
- Depending on the absorptive power of the background, ACCESS® MWR 290 is diluted 1:9 to 1:14 with aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons as well as isoparaffins. Apply a uniform and rich coat of the dilution to the absorbent surface with a brush, roller or by overflow coating. To ensure uniformity of the coating, apply twice “wet-on-wet”.
- ACCESS® MWR 290 is an excellent impregnating agent for many mineral backgrounds, such as brick, clinker, sand lime brick, natural stone, concrete or mineral plasters.
- ACCESS® MWR 290 can, in addition, be used as a primer for acrylic paints or plasters, silicone resin paints or plasters as well as for other coatings. Moreover, it can be applied on humid construction materials as well as strongly alkaline backgrounds.
- ACCESS® MWR 290 reacts with air humidity. A prolonged contact with the air has thus to be avoided. The drums have to be tightly closed.
