Product Uses

AFCONA – 2508 has below performance properties:

1. Suitable to eliminate process foams in PUD and polyarylic emulsion resins system.
2. Gives good shear force resistance. Suitable for pigment concentrate preparation and defoamer for printing ink systems.
3. It has low sensitivity against crater formation.
4. Testing along with AFCONA-2507 should be done to identify best candidate for each specific system.

Incorporation

AFCONA - 2508 can be added at any stage during the production process.

Addition and Dosage

0.05 - 1.00% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05 - 0.25% based on total formulation. In pigment paste preparation, normal dosage will be ranging from 0.5 to 1.0%

AFCONA-2508 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container
