- AFCONA-2724 provides good leveling of the surface (no craters or air bubbles) in epoxy resin systems.
- AFCONA-2724 is recommended for thin layer (gel coat), casting resins and epoxy resin systems (e.g. floorings). In addition, it can be used for room temperature curing of unsaturated polyesters that are used in glass fiber reinforced systems.
AFCONA-2724 can be used in pigmented and non-pigmented resin systems such as:
- unsaturated polyesters (SMC/BMC gel coats and synthetic mortars)
- two-pack epoxies
- polyester/melamine heat-cured systems
- PVC-compounds

- To prevent foam - and bubble-formation, AFCONA-2724 should be added at the beginning of the production process or application into the system. If it is added at the end of the formulation, good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- AFCONA-2724 may be used at 0.1 -0.5% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.1 - 0.3% based on total formulation is sufficient.

AFCONA-2724 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
Note: AFCONA – 2724 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not influence the quality or performance of the product.
