AFCONA 3586 has a very strong surface tension reduction and good compatibility properties. Hence, it is very effective in below properties for any water based systems:
- Excellent anti-crater behavior.
- Better substrate wetting.
- Improved leveling.
- No inter-coat adhesion problems.
- Little or no foam stabilization.
- Good compatibility.
AFCONA 3586 and AFCONA 3585 have different modification on the polyether part where these different modification result in different orientation of the polymer in various aqueous resin systems to obtain different surface tension reduction and substrate wetting. Thus we recommended to test both products to obtain the suitable product to use.

AFCONA 3586 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 3 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
