Boratherm™ GA6 S21.5 is submicron ground alumina produced by the calcination of carefully selected synthetic aluminum hydroxide (ATH). Boratherm™ GA grades are often used in combination with Boratherm™ SA and Boratherm™ SG grades in order to enhance a formulation’s particle packing and flow properties, resulting in improved thermal conductivity and stability (filler settling). Boratherm™ GA6 S21.5 is the surface-modified (1.5 % w/w coated) version of Boratherm™ GA6, a submicron ground alumina tailored to improve the stability of thermally conductive uncured polymeric composites. Changes in type of treatment and loading level are possible to meet your specific requirements. To guarantee a consistent product quality for the Boratherm™ GA grades, the chemical composition of the raw materials, the product particle size of the final products, and the treatment process (in the case of the Boratherm™ GA6 S21.5) are closely monitored and kept within a narrow variation.
