AFCONA-2720 is also recommended for pigmented or non-pigmented resin systems such as:
- Unsaturated polyesters (SMC/BMC gelcoats and synthetic mortars)
- Two-pack epoxies
- Polyester/melamine heat-cured systems
- PVC-compounds
In highly pigmented and high viscosity systems, incorporating a suitable dispersing agent will reduce the viscosity and help to improve de-aeration. Products like AFCONA – 5010 are suitable for extender-rich systems, while AFCONA-4070 and AFCONA-4047 are suitable for inorganic and organic pigments.
- Incorporation
- AFCONA-2720 may be incorporated through simple mixing. A homogeneous mix will increase its efficiency.
- Addition and Dosage
- AFCONA-2720 may be added at 0.1 -1.0% based on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.2 - 0.5% based on total formulation is sufficient.

- AFCONA-2720 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container
