- AFCONA – 2725 also acts as a very good defoamer in PMMA systems for floor coatings and pigment paste preparation.
- AFCONA - 2725 also performs as a leveling agent, giving a smooth surface to the coating.
- AFCONA-2725 has low odor and is suitable as a replacement for AFCONA – 2722, if desired.
- In epoxy coating, using AFCONA-2725 in combination with AFCONA – 2038 will increase the defoaming performance tremendously.

- To avoid foam - and bubble-formation, AFCONA-2725 should be added at the beginning of the production process or application into the system. If added at the end of the formulation, good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- AFCONA-2725 may be used at 0.5 - 1.5% based on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 1% based on total formulation is sufficient. For serious cases, a combination of AFCONA-2725 and AFCONA-2038 at 1% each will solve most foam problems.
