- AFCONA-4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly developed for co-grinding purposes for coil and can coating, heat cured polyester and acrylic, and epoxy, as well as polyurethane.
- This product does not depend on polarity and performs well in almost all resin systems, especially when co-grinding dark colors.
Note: AFCONA – 4017 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not influence the performance of the product.

Addition and dosage: Add AFCONA-4017 according to the dosages listed below, which should be calculated based on the weight of pigment in the formula:
- TiO2 : 6 - 8%
- Other inorganic pigments : 5 - 10%
- Organic pigments : 20 - 40%
- Carbon blacks : 30 - 60%
- The optimum dosage will be approximately 1% in the total formulation.
Incorporation: AFCONA-4017 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA 4017 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
