Deco-Chem Brush Resist 4829

Deco-Chem’s Brush Resist is an excellent choice for conventional curing is a temporary protective panel that adheres to metal products. The Brush Resist provides scratch or corrosion protection during manufacturing processes. The dry film is firm and non-tacky. Removal of the Brush Resist can be achieved using commercial concentrations of alkali solutions.

Cure Parameters

Baking temperatures may vary depending on ink deposit, placement of parts in the oven and equipment. Pretests are recommended prior to production run.

  • 150°F for 10 minutes
  • 175°F for 8 minutes
  • 200°F for 4 minutes
  • 225°F for 3 minutes

Storage Conditions

Ink should be stored in a metal container at room temperature (75°F). Inks previously used for printing runs should be stored in a separate container to avoid cross contamination. Ink has a minimum shelf life of 6 months from date of manufacture if the above guidelines are followed and there has been nothing added to the ink.
