OPULYN(TM) 305 Opacifier is an anionic styrene/acrylic copolymer that is supplied at 40% solids. It is specifically designed for anionic-surfactant based systems with high levels of inorganic electrolytes across a broad pH range. This product is recommended for use in liquid hand soaps.

Its primary function is to produce water-in-silicone emulsions with textures ranging from lotion to cream. DOWSIL(TM) ES-5226 DM Formulation Aid is a 37.5% dispersion of silicone polyether in a low-viscosity, volatile dimethicone fluid.

ACULYN(TM) 2051 Rheology Modifier is an inverse (water-in-oil) emulsion of sodium polyacrylate in dimethicone. This emulsion contains two surfactants, one to stabilize the thickening agent and the other to help bring the polymer into contact with the aqueous phase of the formulation. When the product is added to water, the polymer expands into the water phase to thicken and give stability to the preparation. As the formulation thickens, the oil-phase ingredients are emulsified and stabilized.

This product does not contain ethylene oxide or propylene oxide and can be used to formulate various PEG-free cosmetic formulations.
