In the mid-1900s, Bartolomeo Coppola and his wife Milena opened a small confectionery laboratory on the outskirts of Milan, with the dream of making a difference in the sector. Traveling throughout Italy and meeting different realities, they begin to understand the different needs of pastry shops and ice cream shops and their need for industrial products that maintain the characteristics of craftsmanship. Bartolomeo Coppola launches extraordinary semi-finished products that reduce the production processes of laboratories and the company, but still smell of ancient tradition… thus leading the company to be known throughout Italy. After a few years, Dulcistar moves to the new headquarters in Piazzale Lugano, because it needs more space. The founder handed down to his family the love and passion for the tradition and quality of Italian pastry, the importance of artisan versatility at the customer's service, all values ​​still shared by the company today. At the “passing of the baton”, the new generation understands the importance of the company's development also in the foreign market and the need for modernization of production processes.
