- Perdure A01 is most commonly used as a sealer for Düraamen concrete, epoxy terrazzo and polymeric terrazzo flooring systems.
- It is also used for sealing old and new concrete floors, exterior ramps, decks, sidewalks, slate and exposed aggregate surfaces.

- Substrate Requirements
- Contains solvent, must be applied with proper ventilation.
- Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50°F.
- The substrate must be free of dirt, waxes, curing agents and other foreign materials.
- Applications
- Surface Preparation is the most critical portion of any successful resinous flooring system application.
- All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in Düraamen’s Technical Bulletin # 1.
- Work must be performed by trained or experienced contractors or maintenance personnel.
- All surfaces must be clean and free of loose debris, dirt and dust, grease, oils, curing agents, bonding agents and cleaning solutions.
- Cleaning may be accomplished by pressure washing, mechanical sanding, scraping, chipping, or sandblasting.
- Repair all cracks with the appropriate patching material for the existing substrate.
- Installation
- Perdure A01 is applied by roller, brush, or lambs’ wool applicator.
- Care should be taken to minimize the entrapment of air caused by over-rolling.
- Two coats are recommended for sealing applications.
- Clean Up
- Clean skin with soap and water.
- Tools and equipment should be cleaned with Xylene or Lacquer Thinner.
- Coverage
Perdure A01 yields 250 - 300ft² per gallon depending on surface porosity and/or application method.
- Maintenance
- After completing the application of Perdure A01, the installer should provide the owner with maintenance instructions.
- If floors become slippery due to animal fats, oil, grease, or soap film, clean and rinse thoroughly.
- Perdure A01 is easily cleaned with neutral soaps or detergents.
- Routine mechanical scrubbing is recommended for all surfaces having a non-skid texture.
- Waxing is optional.
- Long periods of heavy traffic may cause wear patterns necessitating the application of a finish coat.
