Perdure E10 is a 100% solids, multipurpose epoxy binder for Düraamen self-leveling mortar and quartz systems. Perdure E10 all-purpose epoxy resin is characterized as an excellent general-purpose material with good clarity and color retention. Perdure E10 is essentially odorless and therefore can be applied in occupied areas.

Applications & Uses

Application Method
Substrate Requirements
  • Bonding surfaces must be sound, clean, and free from standing water.
  • Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50°F.
  • The substrate must be free of dirt, waxes, curing agents and other foreign materials.
  • Pigmented version should not be used as a topcoat.
Applications
  • Surface Preparation is the most critical portion of any successful resinous flooring system application.
  • All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in Düraamen Technical Bulletin # 1.
  • Work must be performed by trained or experienced contractors or maintenance personnel.
Clean Up
  • Clean skin with soap and water.
  • Tools and equipment should be cleaned with Xylene or Lacquer thinner.
Coverage

80 - 160 sq. ft. per gallon depending upon the application method and porosity of the substrate.

Maintenance
  • After completing the application of Perdure E10, the installer should provide the owner with maintenance instructions.
  • If floors become slippery due to animal fats, oil, grease, or soap film, clean and rinse thoroughly.
  • Perdure E10 is easily cleaned with neutral soaps or detergents.
  • Routine mechanical scrubbing is recommended for all surfaces having a non-skid texture.
  • Waxing is optional.
  • Long periods of heavy traffic may cause wear patterns necessitating the application of a finish coat.
