Features & Benefits
- Ready-to-Use Product Features
- Advantages
- Self-priming and excellent penetrating to achieve excellent bond strength.
- Superior abrasion, impact and wear resistance.
- Excellent hot tire pickup resistance.
- UV resistance does not turn ‘yellow’ or ‘amber’.
- Reduces floor care, cleaning and maintenance costs.
- Low-temperature cure.
Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Application Method
- Compatible Substrates & Surfaces
- Important Considerations
- Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50°F.
- The substrate must be free of dirt, waxes, curing agents and other foreign materials.
- Do not apply over damp or wet substrates.
- Avoid applications on surfaces with active moisture vapor transmission.
- Very fast set (short working time).
- Applications
- Surface Preparation is the most critical portion of any successful resinous flooring system application.
- All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in Duraamen’s Technical Bulletin # 1.
- Work must be performed by trained or experienced contractors or maintenance personnel.
- Installation
- Perdure P72 is a two-component system.
- Mix Part A and Part B in equal parts (1:1) using a clean, dry container.
- Stir gently using a mechanical stirrer, avoiding overmixing or creating a vortex that could introduce moisture.
- Do not mix below the dew point, which will shorten the pot life.
- No induction time is required before use.
- After mixing the Parts A & B, Perdure P72 has a working time of 15 minutes at a temperature of 70°F and 50% RH.
- At higher temperatures and humidity the working time can be shorter.
- An industrial-grade, phenolic resin core with a synthetic nap (1/4” or 3/8” nap, 18” width) roller is recommended for application.
- Clean Up
- Clean skin with soap and water.
- Tools and equipment should be cleaned with Xylene or Lacquer Thinner.
- Coverage
Perdure P72 yields 200-250ft²/gallon at 5 - 6 mil thickness.
