"In 1946, when Ralph Gamber bought three beehives at a farm sale, his intention was to rekindle his childhood fascination with bees and sell honey to his neighbors in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He and his wife Luella were totally unaware this modest purchase would evolve into the largest independent honey packaging business in the country.

Dutch Gold Honey Dark/Robust Maple Syrup is a deep color, full maple flavor. Typically, made later in the sugaring season as the weather turns warmer. Dark Color Robust Taste maple syrup is often preferred because of its robust maple taste. Best for all-around use for cooking and at the breakfast table on waffles, pancakes, and French toast. Available in 16 and 32 fl. oz. bottles, and in various quantities for each size.

From the wide open sweet clover fields, honey bees diligently produce millions of pounds of light, golden Clover Honey during the warm summer months. Dutch Gold is proud of the long-standing relationship we have with several beekeeping families.

Dutch Gold Honey Moorland Raw Wildflower Honey is medium in color with a smooth rich flavor. Contains the pollen, enzymes, propolis and minerals existing in unprocessed honey. Heated to 140 degrees and run through a strainer.

Dutch Gold Honey Alfalfa Honey has been produced in the Wind River area of Wyoming, just outside of Riverton. In this part of central Wyoming, the alfalfa is irrigated, due to the dry conditions, and the plant is allowed to bloom for seed production, which is exactly what the beekeepers want. When the alfalfa bloom opens, the honey bees rush to collect the nectar to produce a delightful golden honey.

Dutch Gold Honey Mesquite Pail is a light, silky, viscous honey produced from the creamy white blossoms of the mesquite tree growing across the southwest US and into northern Mexico. It is harvested in the springtime prior to the blossoms turning into long, tan, peapod seeds. A discerning palate may detect slight smoky notes, but this honey is sweet not smoky as the name association might suggest.

Usually made in the earliest part of the sugaring season, Amber Color Rich Taste maple syrup has a mild maple flavor. It is best for pouring on waffles, pancakes, and French toast.
