Application

Inokem® UR 3301 is a versatile binder suitable for the manufacture of transparent and pigmented systems: high gloss, fast drying together with high hardness, water resistance together with very good gloss and color retention are the key properties of this branched PU-alkyd emulsion; the field of applications encompasses wall paints and decorative lacquers or varnishes to industrial coatings such as top coats and anticorrosion primers. Inokem® UR 3301 shows generally good compatibility with other binders, as well as good reactivity with associative thickeners. The drier recommendation is 0 to 0.001% iron metal or 0 to 0.1% cobalt metal, both on solid binder.

Storage Conditions

Inokem® UR 3301 should be kept in the original containers or in stainless steel, aluminum or plastic tanks. Ordinary steel tanks with a corrosion-proof lining can also be used. The containers should be kept closed to prevent evaporation of the water and the formation of a skin on the surface. The product should not be exposed to frost (<5°c) or to temperatures exceeding 40°C. Under normal conditions, the product can be stored for six months with no significant loss of its properties, but it cannot be guaranteed for a longer time.
