SOLKEM 1028 can be used for the manufacture of air drying and stoving primers and finishes. It can be blended with nitrocellulose, melamine formaldehyde, urea formaldehyde and isocyanate.

SOLKEM 1028 should be kept in the original containers or in stainless steel, aluminum or plastic tanks. Ordinary steel tanks with a corrosion -proof lining can also be used. The containers should be kept closed to prevent the formation of a skin on the surface. The product should not be exposed to frost (<5°C) or to temperatures exceeding 40°C. Under normal conditions, the product can be stored for twelve months with no significant loss of its properties, but it cannot be guaranteed for a longer time.
