Akulon® 

Arnite® PET, polyethylene terephthalate, and Arnite® PBT, polybutylene terephthalate, and blends are high-performance material solutions that combine high strength and rigidity with excellent processing characteristics. 

As a result, Arnite® PET and Arnite® PBT are well suited for a broad range of automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, food packaging applications and more. 

A wide portfolio of Arnite® is available, including unreinforced, reinforced and flame retardant grades. 


Arnite

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts. 

Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Stanyl is a high-performance aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C that due to its high crystallinity and fast crystallization speeds entails three key strengths:

ForTii® 

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide that uniquely balances the benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides, such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance.

It has wide applicability and is especially popular as a PA66 performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

EcoPaXX

Xytron PPS is a high-performance plastics compound based on linear polyphenylene sulfide that contributes to three key strengths: heat aging performance up to 240 °C; chemical resistance at high temperature; and dimensional stability. 

This polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and is intrinsically flame retardant because of its electrical properties. 

Xytron PPS offers high stiffness up to a glass transition temperature of 90°C, with a continuous use temperature between 240-260°C. 

This family of PPS grades is well suited for a broad range of automotive, electronics and electrical, water management and specialized industrial applications.

Akulon® K222-KGV4 is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin that comes with labeling claims of being halogen-free and phosphorus-free. They feature flame-retardant and heat-stabilized properties, making them suitable for applications in automotive and transportation as well as electrical and electronics markets. Additionally, they are known for their light weight and UL flame rating.

Akulon® K222-KGV4

Stanyl® TW272B6 is a high-performance polyamide that provides unmatched performance and value for demanding applications in which superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear and friction, and process flow qualities are required. This high-performance polyamide 46 is used for applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Since it retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220 °C, this makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, where it outperforms PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP. A suitable processing technology for the product is injection molding. Special features include being heat stabilized, wear modified, and friction modified.

Arnitel® EM460 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) known for its exceptional combination of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. Across industries such as automotive and E&amp;E, it is gaining prominence as a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, resulting in reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using extrusion and injection molding technologies, including film extrusion, and complies with food contact quality requirements.

Akulon® F223-D is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin with food contact acceptability. It is valued for its lightweight properties, low viscosity, and medium viscosity variants. PA 6 also boasts an UL flame rating. This material serves various markets, including automotive and transportation and electrical and electronics. Some common end uses for this product include CEE connectors, door panels, and EV charging connectors.

ForTii® WX11-FC is a breakthrough high-temperature polyamide with halogen-free and halogen-containing flame retardant grades and a broad and versatile portfolio of grades that deliver high performance with a unique balance of properties. It is mainly used for demanding applications in the electronics, lighting, automotive, white goods, industrial, and aerospace industries. It has excellent hydrolysis resistance, processability, and surface quality and is ideal for complex and thin-walled food and water contact applications. It is 30% glass-reinforced, PA4T, food contact quality, drinking water grade, and USP Class VI classified. It is best suited for injection molding.

In industries such as automotive and E&amp;E, Arnitel® PM471 is becoming a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, leading to reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using injection molding technology, making it suitable for various applications.

Akulon® K224-PG8 is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin utilized in composite materials and plastics, featuring impact modification and lightweight properties. It is applied in various sectors, including consumer goods (appliances and electronics, furniture), automotive, and transportation (chassis, brakes, exterior, interior, safety systems, seating).

It offers extremely good chemical resistance, dimensional stability, intrinsic flame retardancy, and high stiffness.
