Akulon® 

Arnite® PET, polyethylene terephthalate, and Arnite® PBT, polybutylene terephthalate, and blends are high-performance material solutions that combine high strength and rigidity with excellent processing characteristics. 

As a result, Arnite® PET and Arnite® PBT are well suited for a broad range of automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, food packaging applications and more. 

A wide portfolio of Arnite® is available, including unreinforced, reinforced and flame retardant grades. 


Arnite

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts. 

Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Stanyl is a high-performance aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C that due to its high crystallinity and fast crystallization speeds entails three key strengths:

ForTii® 

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide that uniquely balances the benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides, such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance.

It has wide applicability and is especially popular as a PA66 performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

EcoPaXX

Xytron PPS is a high-performance plastics compound based on linear polyphenylene sulfide that contributes to three key strengths: heat aging performance up to 240 °C; chemical resistance at high temperature; and dimensional stability. 

This polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and is intrinsically flame retardant because of its electrical properties. 

Xytron PPS offers high stiffness up to a glass transition temperature of 90°C, with a continuous use temperature between 240-260°C. 

This family of PPS grades is well suited for a broad range of automotive, electronics and electrical, water management and specialized industrial applications.

Arnitel® PB420-B is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) known for its unique blend of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. In industries spanning from automotive to E&amp;E, Arnitel® PB420-B is increasingly favored as a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, leading to reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using blow molding technology, offering versatility for various applications.

EcoPaXX® Q-KGS6 is a versatile halogen-free flame-retarded long aliphatic polyamide with a UL94 V0 and CTI 600V rating, suitable for various connectors and housings. It offers excellent retention of electric properties, even with humidity uptake. Belonging to the family of long-chain polyamides, it provides exceptional performance in demanding environments, including excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, a very high melting point (highest among bio-plastics), and a high crystallization rate. This grade is processed using injection molding and includes 30% glass reinforcement, providing flame retardancy without halogens.

Akulon® K224-PG6 B-MB is a polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin utilized in composite materials and plastics, offering impact modification and a lightweight profile. It is commonly applied in automotive and transportation, particularly for exterior and interior components, and is available in fabric form.

Arnitel® EM550-H is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) renowned for its exceptional blend of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. Across industries such as automotive and E&amp;E, it is gaining prominence as a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, leading to reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding technologies and includes heat stabilization for enhanced performance.

Stanyl® TC154 is a high-performance polyamide that provides unmatched performance and value for demanding applications in which superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear and friction, and process flow qualities are required. This high-performance polyamide 46 is used for applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Since it retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220 °C, this makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, where it outperforms PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP. A suitable processing technology for the product is injection molding. Special features include being heat-stabilized and thermally conductive.

These attributes make it highly suitable for a wide variety of applications in the automotive, electrical and electronics, and consumer goods sectors.

Arnitel® UM551-V is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) known for its combination of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. In industries such as automotive and E&amp;E, Arnitel® UM551-V is becoming a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, leading to reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. It's important to note that this material is flame retardant (halogen-phosphorus-free) and should be used in dry environments due to limited hydrolysis resistance. Arnitel® UM551-V can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding technologies, offering versatility for various applications.

EcoPaXX® Q170E B-MB is an unfilled long aliphatic polyamide primarily used for film and monofilament extrusion. It belongs to the family of long-chain polyamides, which offer exceptional performance in demanding environments. It has excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, a very high melting point, and a high crystallization rate. It has the lowest carbon footprint among common polyamides. The material can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding technologies. It has a medium viscosity grade and meets the requirements for food contact quality.
