Akulon® 

Arnite® PET, polyethylene terephthalate, and Arnite® PBT, polybutylene terephthalate, and blends are high-performance material solutions that combine high strength and rigidity with excellent processing characteristics. 

As a result, Arnite® PET and Arnite® PBT are well suited for a broad range of automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, food packaging applications and more. 

A wide portfolio of Arnite® is available, including unreinforced, reinforced and flame retardant grades. 


Arnite

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts. 

Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Stanyl is a high-performance aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C that due to its high crystallinity and fast crystallization speeds entails three key strengths:

ForTii® 

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide that uniquely balances the benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides, such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance.

It has wide applicability and is especially popular as a PA66 performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

EcoPaXX

Xytron PPS is a high-performance plastics compound based on linear polyphenylene sulfide that contributes to three key strengths: heat aging performance up to 240 °C; chemical resistance at high temperature; and dimensional stability. 

This polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and is intrinsically flame retardant because of its electrical properties. 

Xytron PPS offers high stiffness up to a glass transition temperature of 90°C, with a continuous use temperature between 240-260°C. 

This family of PPS grades is well suited for a broad range of automotive, electronics and electrical, water management and specialized industrial applications.

Stanyl® TW371 is a high-performance polyamide that provides unmatched performance and value for demanding applications in which superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear and friction, and process flow qualities are required. This high-performance polyamide 46 is used for applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Since it retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220 °C, this makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, where it outperforms PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP. A suitable processing technology for the product is injection molding. Special features include being heat stabilized, wear modified, and friction modified.

ForTii® F81 is a breakthrough high-temperature polyamide that offers halogen-free and halogen-containing flame retardant grades, making it suitable for demanding applications in industries such as electronics, lighting, automotive, white goods, industrial, and aerospace. It combines good flowability with mechanical performance, and it is certified as V0 (highest flame retardancy rating) in all colors down to a thickness of 0.35 mm. The processing technology for this product is injection molding, and it offers the special features of being 15% glass-reinforced, electro-friendly, and free of red phosphorus.

ForTii® F81

EcoPaXX® Q-Y is an unfilled, impact-modified long-aliphatic polyamide suitable for eyewear applications. It belongs to the family of long-chain polyamides, which offer exceptional performance in demanding environments. This includes excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, a very high melting point (the highest among bio-plastics), and a high crystallization rate. EcoPaXX® Q-Y has the lowest carbon footprint among common polyamides. It is processed using injection molding technology and is impact modified to enhance its impact resistance and surface esthetics.

These attributes make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in the automotive, electrical, electronic, and consumer goods sectors.

Xytron™ G4024T is a high-performance plastic compound that is based on PPS (polyphenylene sulfide). It offers extremely good chemical resistance, dimensional stability, intrinsic flame retardancy, and high stiffness. Because of its outstanding properties, it contributes to excellent performance in many different applications. A suitable processing technology for the product is injection molding.

Arnitel® EM400 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) recognized for its exceptional blend of flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by outstanding processing characteristics. In various industries, from automotive to E&amp;E, it is gaining popularity as a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional rubbers, resulting in reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material can be processed using extrusion and injection molding technologies, including film extrusion, and meets the requirements for food contact quality.
