Akulon® 

Arnite® PET, polyethylene terephthalate, and Arnite® PBT, polybutylene terephthalate, and blends are high-performance material solutions that combine high strength and rigidity with excellent processing characteristics. 

As a result, Arnite® PET and Arnite® PBT are well suited for a broad range of automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, food packaging applications and more. 

A wide portfolio of Arnite® is available, including unreinforced, reinforced and flame retardant grades. 


Arnite

Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts. 

Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

Stanyl is a high-performance aliphatic polyamide with a melting temperature of 295°C that due to its high crystallinity and fast crystallization speeds entails three key strengths:

ForTii® 

EcoPaXX® is a high-performance aliphatic, biobased polyamide that uniquely balances the benefits of typical short and long chain polyamides, such as low moisture uptake and high mechanical performance.

It has wide applicability and is especially popular as a PA66 performance booster since it can be processed in the same tools.

EcoPaXX

Xytron PPS is a high-performance plastics compound based on linear polyphenylene sulfide that contributes to three key strengths: heat aging performance up to 240 °C; chemical resistance at high temperature; and dimensional stability. 

This polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and is intrinsically flame retardant because of its electrical properties. 

Xytron PPS offers high stiffness up to a glass transition temperature of 90°C, with a continuous use temperature between 240-260°C. 

This family of PPS grades is well suited for a broad range of automotive, electronics and electrical, water management and specialized industrial applications.

Arnitel® ECO M700 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) celebrated for its exceptional blend of flexibility, high-temperature resistance, strength, and outstanding processing attributes. Across industries spanning automotive to E&amp;E, it stands as a lighter, more intelligent, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional rubbers, effectively reducing environmental impact and system costs. This material is well-suited for extrusion processes and contains 22% renewable content. Moreover, it holds approval for food-contact applications.

Stanyl® TS272A1 is an aramid-reinforced friction-modified high-heat polyamide that offers extremely low abrasion for gear and bushing applications. It is a high-performance polyamide that provides unmatched performance and value for demanding applications in which superior heat resistance, design stiffness, wear and friction, and process flow qualities are required. This high-performance polyamide 46 is used for applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Since it retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures up to 220 °C, this makes it ideal for extremely high-performance applications, where it outperforms PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP. It is suitable for injection molding.

Arnitel® EL630-08 is a high-performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) known for its flexibility, high temperature resistance, and strength, complemented by excellent processing characteristics. It represents a more sustainable and efficient alternative to conventional rubbers in industries like automotive and E&amp;E, resulting in reduced environmental impact and lower system costs. This material is well-suited for injection molding processes and meets the quality standards required for food contact applications.

EcoPaXX® Q20HG60 is a black, unidirectional tape that offers 60% continuous glass fiber reinforcement and is heat stabilized. It can be processed using lamination, thermoforming, and winding techniques. Similar to EcoPaXX® Q20HC60, this product is also bio-based and can be measured using 14C. It is used in applications such as coolant expansion tanks, wheel housing parts, flooring, and door panels.

Akulon® XS36-E2 (FC-X9201) is a high-performance polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 material trusted by customers worldwide for a multitude of applications, including automotive, electronics, electrical, furniture, and packaging. In molded parts, it delivers an impressive combination of design flexibility and ease of processing, complemented by outstanding mechanical properties across a wide temperature range and diverse conditions. For extrusion, it establishes industry benchmarks, featuring remarkable strength, resilience, and ease of processing. This product boasts special attributes including very high viscosity, nucleation, lubrication, and compliance with food contact standards. It is ideally suited for film extrusion processes.

Stanyl® 46SF5030 is a high-performance polyamide known for its exceptional heat resistance, stiffness in design, wear and friction properties, and processing qualities. It finds applications in automotive, E&amp;E, gears, and outdoor power equipment. Withstanding temperatures up to 220°C, it surpasses PPA, PA6T, PA9T, and often PPS and LCP, making it ideal for demanding high-performance uses. It is best suited for injection molding.
