We produce green hemp in the process of de-hulling the hemp seeds. It consists of pieces of hemp hearts and the layer between the shell and the hemp heart.
The taste of the product is a bit stronger than hemp hearts and consists of up to 34% of plant based protein. A very delicious product.
We mostly use this product to make 50% protein powder but it’s a great product to use otherwise as well.
You can often see the same picture of this product being used when using hulled hemp seeds, which is due to the fact that there are different purity levels. We use our optical sorter to take this part out of the final hemp hearts making our hemp hearts the purest on the market with a purity of 99.9%.
If you’re searching for an alternative for hemp hearts, this product may be one of the best options. Very similar, but with a memorable, distinct taste.
