Dynasylan® SIVO 160 presents a water-borne, storage-stable silane-based sol-gel system engineered for formulating inorganic surface treatment primers. A part of the SIVO® SOL Technology, it inherits the benefits of its established series counterparts by excluding heavy metals, fluorides, and solvents. Designed for minimal volatile organic content, its polymeric nature endows it with high reactivity. This is highlighted by its remarkably low curing temperature range of 20 to 80 °C, a significant advancement for water-borne sol-gel systems. Dynasylan® SIVO 160, appearing as a clear to slightly opaque, colorless to slightly yellow, low-viscosity liquid, offers versatile utility.
