FASCAT® catalysts are used in the production of monomeric esters (plasticizers, synthetic lubricants, and biofuels). 

FASCAT

FASCAT® 4233 is a Light amber oily liquid used in CASE applications, namely the synthesis and curing of polyurethanes. May provide more of a delayed action cure compared to organotin carboxylates such as FACAT® 4202.

FASCAT® 4102 is a pale yellow liquid used in the synthesis of saturated polyester resins for powder coatings and coil coatings.

FASCAT® 4200 is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid which is used in the production of blocked isocyanates for urethane coatings that are used in the automotive OEM market.

FASCAT® 4200

FASCAT® 4350 is a amorphous white powder specifically designed for use in the preparation of alkyd resins in alcoholosis and esterification steps. Catalyst effectiveness has been shown in a number of short, medium, and long oil alkyds prepared from fusion and solvent processes. When used at concentrations of 0.03% to 0.04% by weight of total oil, this catalyst has demonstrated a reduction of 20% to 25% in reaction time as well as improved color and haze. Viable alternative to lithium catalyzed systems.

FASCAT® 4350

FASCAT® 8202 is a yellow amber, oily liquid. A versatile catalyst used in various urethan cross-linking reactions and silanol condensation reactions.

FASCAT® 8201 is a amorphous white solid available in widespread use in the aqueous cathodic electrodeposition of urethane coatings for automotive and industrial applications.

FASCAT® 2004 is a solid white to off-white flaked material. An effective esterification catalyst in variety of industrial applications. It is used in the production of thermoplastic elastomers and as a raw material to produce other stannous tin derivatives.

FASCAT® 4224 is a clear light colored liquid highly selective for polyurethane systems. Exhibits hydrolytic stability found to be useful in waterborne coatings and adhesives. Applications may include formulations when the adhesive or coating needs long pot life at room temperature, but would cure quickly at elevated temperatures such as a hot mold or oven.

FASCAT® 4208X is a white to straw liquid used in silanol condensation reactions for caulk and sealant applications and in the production of silicones.
