Firetect

Firetect® WT-102 is a Class A (Class 1 and Class 2) non-hazardous, non-toxic, flat interior, latex-based flame-retardant intumescent coating for application over raw wood, closed-cell polystyrene & other surfaces tested by a certified lab. WT-102 has excellent adhesion abilities.

Firetect® WT-103 is a Class B (Class 2) interior, intumescent, clear flat water-based coating for application over raw wood. WT-103 may also be used for application over other decorative materials when tested by a certified laboratory.

Firetect® FR-10 is an interior clear, Class B, semi-gloss latex-based flame-retardant coating for use over raw wood. FR-10 can be used in conjunction with Firetect WT-102, Class A, intumescent latex flame-retardant paint for additional flame-retardant gloss and properties.

Firetect® PC-201 provides effective flexible fire retardancy for polyurethane, polyester and polyethylene foams and other cushioning materials. PC-201 will not affect the resiliency of the foam or padding material. Additional tests have shown that the treated surfaces have improved resistance to oxidation and other forms of chemical deterioration; therefore, a better life can be expected from materials treated with PC-201. Due to various forms on the market, users must perform their testing to comply with the specific code required by the fire code.
