In cosmetics:
The soy germ extract is rich in phytosterols. These secondary plant substances havephotoprotective properties and thus prevent skin damage caused by UV radiation, which isresponsible for the aging of the skin, among other things [2,3]. In addition, phytosterols supportthe regeneration of the skin barrier and thus prevent the formation of wrinkles [4]. Soy germextract is therefore used in anti-aging and moisturizing products.
