Forsch Polymer URS 4495

URS 4495 is a low viscosity, polyether-based elastomeric spray system with good durability and excellent chemical resistance at a 1 to 1 by volume mix ratio. URS4495 is recommended for applications requiring flexibility, rigidity, and abrasion resistance in a quick set spray system using low pressure equipment, such as chute liners, truck beds, hopper bins, and Styrofoam coating.

Processing Parameters

Melt and process ISO 701A and POL 9000B at 80 to 140 degrees (F) if frozen.
Surface Temperature: 65 to 110 degrees F.
Mix Ratio: 1 part ISO 701A to 1 part POL 9000B by volume or 100 parts ISO 701A to 91 parts POL 9000B by weight.
Service Time at 70-90 deg. F.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Pot Life

Systems should be stored unopened in air tight containers at 60-90 degrees F. Partially emptied containers should be swept free of atmospheric moisture with dry nitrogen before sealing.
