Applications & Uses
- Applications
- Easy application on site - ZINGA can be applied in several atmospheric circumstances. The ideal substrate temperature during application is between -15°C and +40°C.
- Fast drying time - ZINGA has one of the fastest drying times in the coating industry. It is dry to the touch in about 10 minutes at 20°C (40 µm DFT).
- Does not form films and is resistant - ZINGA contains so much Zinc in its dry extract that it does not form an airtight film. In fact, ZINGA is porous.
- Refillable - One of the most decisive advantages is the fact that ZINGA can be recharged. Each new layer of ZINGA re-liquefies the previous layer and forms a new homogeneous layer of ZINGA.
- Fire retardant - A fire test at SGS Yarsley Technical Service (United Kingdom) classified ZINGA as class 0 surface (best rating) for flame propagation.
- Welds - ZINGA is one of the few coatings that can withstand welds and can be applied over welds.
