Garland Manufacturing Company was the first North American processor of UHMW Polyethylene, beginning our work with UHMW in the mid 1950's. With nearly 60 years of experience in manufacturing UHMW PE, our capabilities have grown to include over 350 stock and custom profile extrusions and profile shapes; a wide variety of UHMW board, UHMW rod, UHMW sheet, UHMW tubes and UHMW tapes; and complete CNC machining and assembly capabilities of finished parts. Our stock sizes of our virgin grade, Gar-Dur brand of UHMW Polyethylene are inventoried in 10 foot, 30 foot, and 50 foot lengths. Garland specializes in complex profile extrusion, extrusion in long lengths (custom to over 300' long), and custom blends and additive formulations of UHMW to achieve increased lubricity, UV resistance, antimicrobial properties, decreased coefficient of friction, and a wide variety of other physical and mechanical requirements.
