FOAMEX® Quillaja Extract Powders may be used to prepare natural shampoos and foaming cosmetics or liquid soaps. Natural fruit & vegetable washing soaps are a new application. Quillaja’s natural antibacterial and antifungal properties have enhanced several new products. In the beverage industry, FOAMEX® Quillaja extract is used
to prepare root beer, slush products, frozen carbonated beverages, foamy cocktail mixes, beer, juice & wine coolers.It is especially useful for maintaining natural foaming in low alcohol and no-alcohol beers. It is also used extensively in feed applications where the benefi ts of the saponins have multifaceted benefi cial properties.

Garuda FOAMEX® Quillaja Extract Powder has a shelf life in excess of two years without loss of foaming ability or product integrity.
- Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool dry location (5 - 20° C., < 60% R.H.) in an area with fresh, clean, circulating air. Protect from direct sunlight, microbial and other contamination.
- Shelf Life
- Minimum 2 years in original sealed package under suggested storage conditions. Keep packages tightly sealed when not in use to prevent absorption of moisture from air.
