Genesee Polymers GP-34

Genesee Polymers' GP-34 SILICONE FLUIDis an amine end-blocked silicone fluid with the following structure where x= 400 –450: The combination of amino-propyl and methoxy functional groups in GP-34provides a rapid cross-linking reaction when the product is GPosed to atmospheric moisture. Suggested uses for GP-34 SILICONE FLUID include applications in room temperature curing sealants, coatings and adhesives. If optimum elastomeric properties are needed, silica or other reinforcing fillers may be required.

Safety & Health

Processing and Safety Guidelines
  • GP-34 SILICONE FLUIDshows a very rapid conversion to cross-linked silicone rubber when GPosed to atmospheric moisture. When mixing with solvents, fillers and other materials, make sure that dry conditions are maintained. Containers of GP-34must be tightly sealed in storage and pressurized slightly with dry nitrogen when transferring or before resealing
