Genesee Polymers' GP-670 SILICONE RESIN SOLUTION is an Ethyl Alcohol -based solution of Methyl Silicone Resin. The resin forms a solid release coating when GP-670 SILICONE RESIN SOLUTION is applied to substrates and solvent is allowed to evaporate. Film formation occurs at room temperature and results in a durable, weather resistant, non-stick surface after solvent evaporation, which normally occurs within a few minutes.Best performance is attained when GP-670 is applied to substrates by spraying, making sure that a wet continuous film covers the substrate, followed by allowing the carrier solvent to evaporate. Some additional improvement in durability will occur, in mold release applications when the treated mold is heated to 80 -100C, for one hour prior to beginning molding operation.GP-670 SILICONE RESIN SOLUTION is suggested for use in a variety of applications, including masonry water repellents, leather and fabric treating agents, mold release formulations and as a binder for high temperature application paints and coatings

Genesee Polymers' GP-58 is a 100% active organic silicone wax copolymer. This unique product is recommended for use as a lubricant, mold release agent and internal lubricant for plastics. When combined with aliphatic solvents, such as mineral spirits, GP-58 forms a dry, colorless film on substrates. This film is stable and will not break down in the presence of water. The lack of any dimethyl silicone removes the problems of orange peel, fisheyes, or similar effects normally associated with dimethyl silicone.

Genesee Polymers' GP-61 is a 100% active AMINE FUNCTIONAL SILICONE WAX. This novel silicone wax copolymer is readily soluble, after melting in mineral spirits, to provide a solvent-based release agent. GP-61 is recommended for evaluation as a lubricant, water repellent, antiblocking agent and internal processing aid for thermoplastics. Since GP-61contains no dimethyl silicone, it will not cause orange peel, fish eyes or similar effects associated with conventional silicones. Another outstanding feature of this product is the amine functionality that provides temporary rust protection and good bonding to mold substrates. GP-61 may be easily removed by steam cleaning or solvent wash.
