Genesee Polymers' GP-6 SILICONE FLUID is an amine functional silicone polymer with the following structure where x = 100 and y = 4: The amine-alkyl functionality of GP-6 provides a versatile reaction site for the synthesis of a variety of functional silicone polymers and silicone-organic copolymers. The polar amine groups in GP-6 SILICONE FLUID also demonstrate high affinity for many substrates, suggesting use of GP-6 in textile lubricants, plastic and rubber release and lubrication, and in car polish formulations. GP-6 SILICONE FLUID is compatible with dimethyl silicone fluids, and with aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated solvents.

  • GP-6 SILICONE FLUID is supplied in 5-gallon (40 lbs.) pails, 55-gallon (440 lbs.) drums and 330-gallon (2640 lbs.) totes. Moisture Sensitive. Keep containers tightly sealed.
