Bisomer® PEM63P HD is an ethylene oxide / propylene oxide block copolymer and its hydroxyl functional group is essentially secondary. It is nontoxic and has an EINECS “Polymer” classification. Bisomer® PEM63P HD has a low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) and offers excellent plasticising properties when incorporated into polymers. Due to the positioning of its hydrophilic and hydrophobic components, Bisomer® PEM63P HD is ideal in the preparation of emulsion polymers for use in pigment dispersing resins and polyurethane dispersions (PUDs). Bisomer® PEM63P HD is an ideal candidate as a polymerisable surfactant in associative thickeners.
