Bisomer® PPA6 offers a less traditional route to the production of UV curable urethane acrylate oligomers. As an alternative to HEA and HPA, it is non-toxic, easy to handle and listed as a polymer in the EINECS classification. Bisomer® PPA6 is also an excellent, low shrinkage reactive diluent for UV systems based on urethane acrylates and vinyl esters (epoxy acrylates). Bisomer® PPA6 has a low Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) and offers excellent plasticising properties when incorporated into polymers, including emulsion polymers. Bisomer® PPA6 is ideal in the preparation of UV oligomers, emulsion polymers, printing inks and polyurethane dispersions (PUDs). It is also used in more traditional acrylic polyols for surface coatings.
