"The company Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH was founded on April 30, 1902 by Karl Anton Rudolf Scholz as a trading company dealing with the import and export of natural iron oxides and lithopone - a very important white pigment at the time - as well as special pigments dealt with.

At the end of the 1920s, Scholz entered into a very successful collaboration that has lasted to this day with Bayer AG now LANXESS. Bayer had succeeded in producing high-quality synthetic iron oxides using the aniline process.

The Scholz company, which had a very good reputation on the market for natural iron oxides and had the best knowledge of the market, was won as a marketing partner. In the years that followed, the synthetic Bayer iron oxides - known today under the name BAYFERROX® - were marketed very successfully, particularly in the USA and Great Britain."

Euronox® BfR is applied in the field of aqueous printing inks, tissue, coloring of paper with food contact. It's special features are that it has particularly good retention properties in decor applications.

Euronox® 960 LF2 is applied in the field of paints &amp; varnish, abrasive materials. It's special features are that it has low VOC and free of APEO, very wide compatibility in numerous systems.
