Features: Contains dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether (DMM) co-solvent. Outstanding water and chemical resistance. Fast early water resistance development. Can be erosslinked o enhance performance.

  • HD-2117 DMM produces films with exceptional adhesion to aluminum, excellent leveling properties and high levels of chemical resistance.
Product Applications
  • HD-2117 DMM can be used as a sole resin vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications.
  • Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

Drying
  • HD-2117 DMM may be dried at ambient temperatures with supplemental co-solvent addition of 5% DPM or DPnB on total formulation weight.
  • Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties without additional co-solvent.
