Suggested Uses

HD-2139 was developed as a high gloss, no wax topcoat for expanded PVC flooring. Can be factory applied as a fused coating during PVC expansion. HD-2139 is ideally suited for PVC roll or sheet goods requiring a 180 degree reverse bend

Product Application

HD-2139 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions and applied by rotogravure, reverse roll, flexible blade, or wire wound rod. It may be thickened for alternative application methods.

Curing

HD-2139 should be dried by forced hot air or heat lamp before entering oven. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties. Maximum performance is attained with additions by weight of 5% HA-801 melamine crosslinker or 4% HA-800 aziridine crosslinker.
