Hauthane HD-2602 DMM (L-2857) is an NMP-free, APEO-free, silicone-modified, polyester-based, water-borne polyurethane dispersion. Features: May be formulated into low surface tension coatings. Excellent abrasion resistance. Non-fugitive silicone component. Crosslinkable for improved adhesion and performance. Contains dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether co-solvent.

  • HD-2602 DMM was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip and abrasion resistance properties are required.
  • HD-2602 DMM contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates including plastics, metals and textiles.
Product Applications
  • HD-2602 DMM may be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications.
  • Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

  • Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
