Hauthane HD-4638 is a soft, aliphatic, water-borne, polyurethane dispersion. Features: Superior flexibility. Soft, tough, flexible, dry film. Excellent UV resistance. Very good abrasion resistance. Superior low temperature flexibility and crack resistance. High melting point (320°F). Good strength properties.

  • HD-4638 was designed for use in textile applications as a versatile polyurethane coating.
  • Due to its overall properties, HD-4638 can be used as a finish or a coating for many textile applications.
  • This product is ideally suited for use as an anti-fray finish on textile fabrics that must have a soft hand.
  • HD-4638 is also suitable for textile coating applications that require excellent low temperature flexibility and crack resistance.
Product Applications
  • Spray or pad, solids may be adjusted for optimum add-on.
  • May be thickened with HA-900 for knife coating.
