Used as a transparent repair sealant to seal cracks in roofing membranes, coat shingles, repair flashings, gutters, eavestroughs, copings, skylights, monitors and sign anchors.
- Limitations
Do not use ClearPatch™ Clear Roof Sealant over coal-tar pitch coatings. For ease of application during cold weather, condition material in warm temperature before using.
- Preparation
Surfaces must be sound, clean, and free from dust, dirt, rust, grease, oil, fungi, mold or frost.
- Application
Apply by knife or trowel. Can be applied to a wet or dry surface. When sealing joints, seams or cracks, press Bakor ClearPatch™ into the area in need of repair to obtain deep penetration and then “crown up” to ensure water will not collect in the space.
- Cleanup
Use mineral spirits.
