High Desert Milk prides itself on superior quality products, manufactured in the agricultural heart of Idaho. The company originated in 2001 as six dairy producers with aspirations to create a stable market for their milk and develop dairy products that they could be proud of.

High Desert Milk’s board members hold ownership of the farms and dairies, the trucks, and the milk plant. Through vertical integration High Desert is able to control and monitor all aspects of the supply chain and offer customers the youngest and freshest products in the market.

The products offered include Grade A Nonfat Dry Milk Powder, Skim Milk Powder, Whole Milk Powder, Buttermilk Powder, Grade AA Butter, Salted and Unsalted, and Cream. These products are produced to conform to both domestic and international standards and are available worldwide.

High Desert Milks’ Skim Milk Powder, Extra Grade Medium Heat is free from lumps, except those that break up readily under slight pressure. The product has a sweet and desirable flavor, may have a: slight cooked and clean flavor. The color shall be white or cream and free from unnatural color. Skim Milk Powder is the result from removal of fat and water from milk and contains lactose, milk proteins and milk minerals in the same relative proportions as the fresh milk from which it was made. The raw milk is fresh, sweet milk produced by rBST free healthy cows, that has been pasteurized during manufacture at High Desert Milk. The skim milk powder does not contain any added whey proteins or any added preservative, neutralizing agent or other chemicals. This product is classified as a Dairy Allergen.

High Desert Milks Grade A Concentrated Skim Milk is made from Grade A skim milk which has been pasteurized and concentrated by partial removal of water. Concentrated Skim Milk is light yellow to white in color with a sweet clean dairy taste. This product is classified as a Dairy Allergen.
