MOLD SEAL is a unique compound that is specifically designed for use in a high production molding environment.

Hill and Griffith SPEED SEAL 10 Mold Seal-Core Paste is formulated with organic and inorganic binders, fillers, suspension agents and water. SPEED SEAL 10 Mold Seal-Core Paste provides good strength in relatively short periods of time and exhibits good storage life. This unique formulation provides a quick drying skin over the binders and maintains its applied bead size. The bead then creates a filler and paste combination to fill any voids and creates gluing bonding agent.

Copseal is a fibrous mastic material used as an effective seal to be used on the parting line of the mold to prevent metal "run outs" or "fins."

MAGIC CAST 353 ZMG is an alcohol base, zircon/graphite refractory coating. MAGIC CAST 353 ZMG has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burn on defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. MAGIC CAST 353 ZMG can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

Hill and Griffith EZ KOTE™ 65 Graphite Core and Mold Coating is a water based refractory coating formulated for ferrous and non-ferrous castings. The formulation permits the product to be used on small to medium cores up to heavy cores and molds.

Hill and Griffith EZ KOTE™G PLASTIC PM Core and Mold Coating is a water based refractory coating formulated for ferrous and non-ferrous castings. The formulation permits the product to be used on small intricate cores up to heavy cores and molds. The Premixed version (PM) typically has a Baume of 39.5.

FOAM KOTE 2001 is a high refractory/graphite modified coating designed for both ferrous and non-ferrous applications. FOAM KOTE 2001 can be applied by brushing, dipping, or spraying. The rheological properties of FOAM KOTE 2001 contribute to improved workability and consistency, thus providing improved surface finish and casting quality. Because of the excellent suspension of FOAM KOTE 2001 minimal settling occurs which allows for easy re-dispersion. The coating is designed to be reduced with water at the customer’s facility.
