PulvaWear™ is a specially formulated wear resistant coating for use in coal pulverizing mills.  The composition of dense alumina spheres and micro ceramic powder in a ballistic grade aramid fiber reinforced epoxy matrix provides remarkable service life when applied to classifier cones, mill walls and other internal components.  The protective properties of PulvaWear™ are uniquely optimized by typical coal mill operating temperatures. PulvaWear™ is supplied in a complete kit including tools for mixing and application.

Pulvawear

Pulvawear™ is a wear-resistant coating designed specifically for use in coal pulverizing mills. When applied to classifier cones, mill walls, and other internal components, the composition of dense alumina spheres and micro ceramic powder in a ballistic grade aramid fiber reinforced epoxy matrix provides exceptional service life. Typical coal mill operating temperatures optimize the protective properties of Pulvawear™. Hudco Pulvawear™ has a service life in coal pulverizers that typically exceeds 5 years. Pulvawear™ comes in a complete kit with mixing and application tools.

Pulvawear™

Formula 3000 is a high-strength structural adhesive that is intended to form strong permanent bonds to ceramic tile, steel, aluminum, and other substrates. The plural component system makes it simple to mix equal parts by weight or volume. Hudco Formula 3000 Resin and Hardener are made in contrasting colored thixotropic pastes that the user can easily monitor while blending into the final color. Its buttery viscosity has high "tack" properties that instantly wet substrates and keep HUDCO Formula 3000 in place during application.

Formula 4000 is a High-strength epoxy resins combined with alumina beads and silicon carbide give HUDCO Formula 4000 excellent wear resistance and a low-friction surface. HUDCO Formula 4000 was originally designed for quick repairs in worn chutes, impact plates, slurry pumps and lines, and other similar equipment. However, it has many other applications because it adheres to both metallic and non-metallic surfaces.

Formula 5000 combines high-strength epoxy resins with a dense loading of wear-resistant alumina and silicon carbide ceramic aggregate. Formula 5000, when applied as an easy-to-apply coating, is a cost-effective alternative to the installation of wear-resistant ceramic tile. Repairs to worn equipment made with Formula 5000 have a much longer wear life than the original part.

Formula 2000 high strength epoxy resins contain a dense concentration of silicon carbide granules that resist abrasive and corrosive wear found in chutes, pumps, fan housings, and other similar equipment. HUDCO Formula 2000 adheres to all metals, concrete, wood, and some plastics and cures without shrinkage at room temperature. It also conforms to odd shapes and is simple to apply without any special skills.
