When CURING AGENT WS 5 is added to aqueous binders (acrylic or SBR latex), a heat treatment after drying consistently improves cohesion and moisture resistance of the film. Where added to textile finishing agents, it will remarkably improve the resistance to washing and abrasion.

The product is supplied in plastic tanks (10 kg); plastic drums (100 kg).
Storing
CURING AGENT WS 5 must be stored at temperatures between 10 and 40°C. Freezing temperature is around -3°C. When frozen, it cannot be restored to previous conditions. Stir periodically in case of prolonged storage. Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).

Suggested quantity is 1 - 4%.
CURING AGENT WS 5 can be added directly to the dispersion; then it is necessary to dry all water off, and the product must be exposed to heat in order to achieve an excellent cross-linking. Best curing conditions: 80 °C for 3 minutes. Pot-life of compound is 24-36 hours.
