Storage & Handling
- Handling
Quantity to apply depends on substrate porosity: from 3 to 5 g dry/sqm (on coated paper we suggest 3 g dry/sqm).
Methods: Meyer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto gravure, Air knife. It can be either thickened (acrylic thickeners) or diluted. It is advised to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in order to achieve the highest properties of releasing and hydrophobicity.
However results are good (but inferior) also at lower temperatures.
Aging properties are excellent.- Storing
Despite a good freeze-thaw stability, keep material preferably at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight. When stored for over one month it is necessary to stir the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
