- Packaging and Storing
Packaging
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Storing
Despite a good freeze-thaw stability, keep material preferably at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. Avoid storing in direct sunlight. When stored for over one month it is necessary to stir the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use. Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- 9 Months
- Handling
Quantity to apply depends on substrate porosity, normally from 1 to 3 grams dry/sqm.
Coating technologies: Meyer bar, reverse roll, roto-gravure, air knife. Product can be thickened with acrylic thickeners, or diluted.
We recommend to dry the coating, by heating for a few seconds at 150°C, so that after crosslinking it achieves the highest properties of releasing and hydrophobicity. However, results are still good (although inferior) even at lower temperatures.
Aging properties are excellent.
